Have you ever had someone to give you a gift that you were not expecting? Sure you have. How about this: have you ever had someone to give you something you knew you did not deserve? Well, here again, I say, sure you have; God has given you the greatest undeserved gift of all, His son. Long before we ever thought about Jesus, He died for us, and even if we go our whole lives and do not accept his sacrifice, He still died for us. As human beings, this is hard to fathom, but as the Scriptures say, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible.”
