Reviews for "Wild Heart"
"Wild Heart written by Shannon Nicole Wells was a wonderful story of families brought together by love and death in the 1880’s. Ms. Wells has a wonderful way of taking you to the edge of your seat as you root for the good guys and pray that the couples involved find the love that they are so deserving of. The portrayal of Shewana finding Christ brought this reviewer to tears and was totally unexpected given the circumstances.
Wild Heart is a good story and with a competent editor, could have been a great read. I will definitely look for future books from this very gifted and talented author.
*** 3 Stars"

“Wild Heart” by Shannon Nicole Wells brought characters to life in a way that only a highly talented writer could do, quite literally jumping off the pages at times. This book has an amazing story line. Never knowing what was around the next corner, it kept me on the edge of my seat. Chuck full of adventure with gunslingers, shootouts, Indian attack’s and more. Gage Colton and Shewana are forced to make on the spot decisions, some leaving scars to the body and soul. I give it 5 stars*****"

"Shannon Nicole Wells skillfully describes the lives of the Colton’s, Christy’s and
Scott’s in Wild Heart. In this page turning Historical Romance she mesmerizes her
readers with a touch of suspense and mystery. I highly recommend this novel as one
to read curled up by the fire on a cold winter’s night. Wells is a wonderful storyteller
and I hope to have the pleasure of reading many more of her novels."

"Any adventure reader out there knows a good book is one that finds you holding your breath and gripping the pages as you fly through the book, wanting to find out what happens to the hero or heroine. Well, if you’re looking for a book that fits this description, then “Wild Heart” is the book for you.
Filled with high-noon duels, kidnappings, running for your lives, surviving the elements, being attacked by renegade Indians and trying to keep the noose from tightening around the young heroine’s neck, this book will not be soon forgotten once you have shared the adventures with ex-gunman Gage Colton and a young Indian woman Shewana Christy.
Along with all the adventure that fills the pages, there is a deep and touching spiritual journey that each of them take as they attempt to stay one step ahead of the people hunting them. Trust me; this book will not disappoint you. Shannon is a wonderfully gifted author who will take you back in time to where survival depended on a fast draw."

"I just finished reading "Wild Heart" by Shannon Nicole Wells, and I have to say that this was one of the best books I have ever read! I'm not just saying that because Shannon is my niece. I literally did not want to put it down until I had it finished. There were so many twists and turns, I just did not know where it was going to go next. And, so many surprises, several times I had to stop and remind myself that Shannon had wrote this book. A real must read! It was worth every penny, and if God uses it to save one person, well, you can't put a price tag on that. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. And, Shannon, may God bless you! I Can't wait to read the next book in this series, if there is one. I really hope there is."

"As a general rule, I do not read romances because I do not wish to impose fiction
upon my reality. I find it depressing at times that I can't make people say or do
things they do in novels. When I visited this author's website, however, and found
that she had written a novel, I read the excerpt. I was so intrigued by the excerpt
I decided to read the book. I am very glad I did! There was enough romance to remind
me that there is hope for me, but not steamy enough to derail the excellent plot.
The twists and turns the characters' lives have taken paint the desert that they
travel through with brilliant patterns. I hope for a sequel, or if the author's other
works mirror this one, I'll read them all!"

"If you like a good western mixed with a lil gun slingin, religion and romantic tension
this is the book for you. The author does a great job of unfolding the lives of the
two main characters in vivid detail. Gage, who comes off as a bit of an old fashioned
chauvinist and Shewana who in her day would be considered a dangerous feminist come
together if not by their choice then that of The Higher Power. It’s a great book
full of adventure and ‘painted’ scenery. Enjoy!"

"Wild Heart by Shannon Nicole Wells is a story of inner struggle as murder, vengeance,
and love battle fiercely throughout the path created by God. Set in the west when
outlaws roamed the hills and vigilante justice was law two people find that God
has chosen the same path for two very different people. Wells tells a vivid story
with a deep spiritual meaning. This story is a must read!"

"I loved the story. It was well told, and I love horses and stories about the old
West. I liked the charactors and see where you could tell another story or series
of stories about this family. I will be sure to buy this book and encourage others
to do so, as well."
